Face to face meetings

From a presentation by Lesley Harris of Travelocity:

Nearly 80% (79%)of business leaders recently polled believe the best way to meet new clients is face to face.

Nearly 90% (87%) of that same group believe that face to face is the best way to seal the deal.

In other words, nothing replaces meeting face to face. Whether it’s at a networking event, across a lunch table or at a trade show, you make your best and most powerful presentation in person.

So, while these shiny new toys of social media seem to be great for making connections, truth is they are just a part of the equation and the part that should (ideally) lead you to a face to face meeting.
