One of the most important elements in your networking is to be consistent.
People remember you by what you say, what you look like, how you interact with people. Now, I’m not saying you should wear the same duds to every meeting like a uniform. What I am saying is to be clear, concise and consistent in being yourself. For example:
- Have a consistent introductory, short speech. Use the same messages (and in some cases, phrases) when you speak.
- Be sure your brand is consistent from web page, to LinkedIn profile to Facebook page to blog.
- Use the same or similar pictures (portraits) of yourself when called for.
- Be consistent when you meet people. Ask the questions that will help you learn about them and they will talk with you about.
These are just a few notes, but being memorable and consistent are closer than you think.
Relentless
