During set up the other day, I ran across this cool idea.
The electrician was taping down cables, which is the rule here in this hall (Las Vegas Convention Center). After he had laid out the cords and routed power, he got out this device.
It was a simple thing: it was a combination of a tape dispenser coupled with a guide to hold the cord attached to a handle so the operator didn’t have to stoop down or get down on hands and knees to apply the tape.
Apparently this cool idea was created by a member of the local electrician’s union here in Vegas.
Hope it is patented. Great idea.
